Perbandingan Mutu Gambar iPhone, Xiaomi, Samsung dan HTC

Hari ini JR agak sibuk, oppps..bukan 'agak sibuk', tapi sebenarnya sangat-sangat sibuk. Lepas saja publish satu entri kat blog ini pagi tadi, JR terus keluar rumah menghabiskan beberapa kerja luar rumah yang perlu dibereskan.

Lebih kurang setengah jam tadi, selepas solat isyak baru free sikit. Lepas solat isyak, JR terus buka blog.

Insyaallah...

Sementara belum ambik gambar gunakan henfon Xiaomi Mi 4, JR nak kongsi satu tinjauan oleh MIUI Device Team yang telah membuat perbandingan mengenai mutu gambar yang diambil melalui Xiaomi Mi 4, Samsung Galaxy S5, iPhone 5S dan HTC One M8:

Perbandingan kapasiti kamera:

Perbandingan mutu gambar:

Sharpness: S5> M8> 5s> Mi4
Although S5 photo is the sharpest, there are signs of over sharpening on the edges.
Dynamic range: Mi4> S5> 5s> M8
The Mi4 provided the greatest dynamic range, showing off more details in the shadows and highlights.
Details: Mi4=S5> 5s> M8
The S5 and Mi4 although having a difference of 3mp, drew this round. The other 2 cameras with lower resolution were at a disadvantage.

The Mi4 and 5s produced colours closer to reality. The S5 and M8 on the other hand tended towards cooler colors and lacked realism.

Similar to the outdoor shot, the Mi 4 and 5s scored for colour accuracy, while the S5 and M8 photos turn out to be cool and had a blue overcast.

The M8 beat everyone at noise control. However details were lacking due to lower resolution of the sensor. The remaining 3 had more or less similar noise, but the S5 lost out in terms of agressive noise reduction which caused the muddying of details.

Based on the samples here, the Mi4 edged ahead for accurate skin colour, hair details and light control.

Only the M8 got it right. Mi4 and S5's flash were too strong while 5s' flash was a tad weak.

You might say that non of the cameras stood up to the extreme low light test, but in reality, you wouldn't be taking many photos in such low light situations (single candlelight?). The Mi4 stands tall and is able to match the others blow for blow. As an everyday camera, the Mi4 is more than adequate as it is speedy and responsive.
